CLAIROL PROFESSIONAL LIQUICOLOR is a Permanent Liquid Hair Color that combines deep conditioning and complete gray coverage, making it the ideal partner for all your hair coloring needs. Its rich formula smooths hair while locking in color for long-lasting, natural-looking results. You can show your creativity with the 64 gorgeous, intermixable shades, including 6 Gray Busters NN shades for even the most resistant grays.
Liquicolor keeps your hair healthy with the Soy4Plex formula that treats strands from the inside out and conditions. Liquicolor also gives 100% coverage, so you won't need to worry about those resistant grays any longer. The Soy4Plex color molecules penetrate the cortex of the hair while smoothing the outer layer to help seal in color, resulting in hair that has more shine and reflects light to create a natural, multidimensional look. The deep conditioned outer layer of the hair forms a highly reflective surface, giving you 61% more shine compared to uncolored hair.
Before coloring, you'll need gloves, a towel, a t-shirt, a timer, a bottle applicator or a bowl and brush. We recommend using a protective barrier cream like coconut oil along the hairline to protect from staining your skin.
To apply Liquicolor, first divide your hair into 4 sections and clip them in place for easier color application. Mix 1 part Clairol Professional Liquicolor and 1 part 20 vol. developer, then apply it to the roots and regrowth areas. Next, mix equal parts of Liquicolor and 10 Vol. Developer, and apply it through the mid-length and ends, massaging and combing through each section for even distribution. Process for 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water and gently emulsify until the water runs clear. Shampoo, condition, and style as desired.
Clairol Professional also offers CRÈME PERMANENTE HAIR COLOR, which provides up to 2x the shine compared to uncolored hair, and PURE WHITE 20 VOLUME DEVELOPER, formulated specifically for Clairol hair color and lighteners. CLAIROXIDE DEVELOPER is also available, providing the proper level of activation for effective color deposit.
